Smylie Kaufman’s girlfriend Francie Harris is a sweet young lady who’s already brought a delightful golden retriever into the relationship. They take pictures with their dog and make them into Christmas cards. It’s that kind of couple. If you’re looking for edgy jokes and biting cultural references, look elsewhere. These two are as down-home as it gets.

Francie just graduated in 2015 from Auburn University and had this to say of her graduation: “I have been loved, supported, challenged, and encouraged, and I will be forever be forever grateful for my time at Auburn.” Charles Barkley feels the exact same way, Francie! People tend to be very loyal to this school. Smylie’s Kaufman’s girlfriend is not a college connection, though. They go deeper than that. They both grew up in Alabama and have known each other since they were kids. This is one of the most generic couples I’ve ever come across. When posting pictures of each other out together, Francie says, “Weeknight dates don’t happen very often for us, but they sure are fun!” I shouldn’t tease about her goody-two-shoes nature so much since Smylie Kaufman’s girlfriend does a lot of charity and community stuff. She’s helped out at childhood cancer events to try to raise awareness. This may be a strange observation, but Francie’s father is the exact spitting image of Smylie. It sorta’ lends credence to that theory that girls grow up looking for a copy of their dad to marry. Hey, just callin’ it like I see it.

Adam Scott’s wife Marie Kojzar played a pretty sick prank on their friends. They kept their wedding a secret from everybody but their parents and then invited all their pals to a “party” in the Bahamas which turned out to be their wedding. If you ask me, it’s pretty genius. I’ve never actually heard of that before, but it sounds like a fun thing to pull off. Justin Rose was apparently invited to the party but didn’t attend, and he’s one of Adam Scott’s best friends! You lose, Justin! The couple did all of this back in April of 2014.

The couple had been dating since about 2004 and have since had a baby daughter. The girl was born in February of 2015. Her name is Bo Vera Scott. Now that is a stylish name. Adam Scott’s wife Marie Kojzar is an architect and interior designer from Sweden. They live in Queensland, Australia together since Adam’s originally from Australia. I suppose they could have chosen to live in Sweden as well. Marie attended the Royal College of Art in London so she’s well-accustomed to globe-hopping.

The way the relationship played out, Adam met Marie way back in 2001 and dated her until 2008. At that time, Marie was a nanny for golfer Thomas Bjorn. Adam Scott’s wife Marie was just someone Adam couldn’t live without, as it turns out. He’s said that after he broke up with Marie, his skills diminished and he didn’t practice as much. It took them until 2013 to reunite. In the time between 2008 and 2013, Adam dated both Kate Hudson and Ana Ivanovic. Adam spoke vaguely about “needing to sort stuff out” personally after he split with Marie back in 2008. It basically struck me as him giving an answer to a question he would have rather just avoided. Regardless, the actual proposal to Marie was a simple conversation and didn’t follow the old romantic script of going to the Eiffel Tower and dropping to a knee with a huge million-dollar diamond (or whatever wacky athletes do these days). In fact, there wasn’t even a honeymoon because they figured their life was already sort of like a honeymoon as it is. Sounds lovely to me.

Russell Knox’s wife Andrea Hernandez Knox saved his ass from getting face-palmed by Chinese customs when he was trying to fill a spot left open by a JB Holmes withdrawal. It wasn’t gonna’ happen for young Russell, but with a resourceful wife the world becomes your moving walkway. Andrea filled out his papers and got the man a proper visa. Then she carried his bag around for a practice round because his back was hurt. It’s not really newsworthy, but Golf Digest reported on it because golf fanatics like knowing when golfers gain access to mysterious lands in the east.

Back in 2014 we mentioned some rumors about this couple getting hitched. The rumors became a reality. Russell Knox’s wife Andrea married him on April 12th of that year. After the marriage, Russell took Andrea to his homeland, Scotland, and played in a tournament called the Scottish Open at Royal Aberdeen. She’d traveled there a few times before, but going there for a tournament and honeymoon following their wedding was a big deal for Russell. Andrea herself was a professional tennis player back around 2007, but it’s unclear to me how long or serious her career was because records of it are tough to find. She was born in Mexico in 1989 and is six years younger than Russell.

Russell said that Andrea was a lot younger than him when she was traveling around the world, and that sort of suggests that she may have been younger than 18 when she was involved with the Women’s Tennis Association. Russell Knox’s wife has been described by him as “his everything,” and after the Chinese customs incident, we can see why. The two met at on a beach in Florida, according the PGA website. At the time they met, he was a cart boy. He says she was a tennis pro, but she never made headlines or anything. She just swung a mean racket and schooled the boy in travel procedures.

When you talk about professional sports relationship drama, this is one of the couples you mention. Dustin Johnson’s girlfriend Paulina Gretzky is madly in love with the guy, and Dustin has had some turbulent times. That word “turbulent” is media-speak for drugs, cheating, and generally just having way too much fun. Honestly, I look up to Dustin Johnson. The guy’s the man. He’s an amazing golfer, he’s got lots of money, and women throw themselves at him. The press loves to browbeat this guy. I am not about that at all. On the contrary, Dustin’s living an extraordinary life! It may be true that it involves a lot of pain and poor choices, but it’s certainly an adventure. Let’s get into things…

First off, Dustin used to be with a fine lady named Natalie Gulbis. She’s a pro golfer, and she’s hot. Natalie told the media they were “together,” and almost right after that Dustin said they weren’t dating at all and the whole thing ended. Now, a little while before the Gulbis get-together, Dustin tested positive for smoking weed. In my book, that’s not a big deal, but the PGA is uptight about his kind of thing. Flash-forward a little to Dustin Johnson’s girlfriend Paulina Gretzky. She’s a Millennial born in 1988. She’s got three brothers and a sister. She’s also described herself as “highly competitive” just like her father. I actually think Dustin sort of looks like her Dad. She’s been a singer and a model. She’s insanely hot, as you can see.

So the couple met back in 2012 and dated for a year before they got engaged. Incidentally, 2012 is the year Dustin started getting busted by the PGA for doing coke. He also allegedly fooled around with the lovely Alli Mackenzie while she was married to the pro golfer Will Mackenzie. She has said they were already in the process of separating and the whole thing was blown out of proportion. She basically said that Dustin Johnson is a normal guy and men his age like to party. I agree completely. She mentioned rumors about another tour wife getting together with Dustin. She also mentioned rumors about a nanny of a tour player as well. They remain rumors. Dustin Johnson’s girlfriend Paulina Gretzky thinks the same.

Last year, Dustin once again made gossip headlines for bumping into Alli and flirting with her in the grocery store. The incident reminded me a little of Reggie Miller and Ali Kay because of the grocery store element. Things seemed to have quieted down for Dustin now that he’s had a child with Paulina. Dustin Johnson’s girlfriend remains his girlfriend, though the couple have been engaged for two years. They seem happy to me. I think the media has made a big deal out of nothing when it comes to ‘ole Dusty. If I were rich, young, and killing it on the PGA circuit, you can bet your ass I’d be doing drugs and flirting with hot women.

Danny Lee’s girlfriend Sasha may be his salve to the crushing loneliness he’d apparently been suffering based on the myriad of media attention he’d been getting. Prior to him posting pictures of him hanging out with her, Danny had been featured as a golfer who was desperately seeking a mate of the opposite gender. This all started after his win at the Greenbrier Classic, a win that included a $1.2 million purse. He essentially told the media that he wished he had a girlfriend so he wasn’t so lonely. So yeah- the best time to admit you’re a lonely schmuck is right after you crush a legion of golfers and take home a giant-sized check worth 1.2 million bucks.

Sasha was featured in a few pictures that Lee’s friend, Danny Perez, must’ve been ecstatic to see. Perez set up a website, email address, and Twitter hashtag (#FindDannyAGirl) to help his buddy out. I get a total “40 Year-Old Virgin” vibe from this whole situation. It’s weird. They passed the whole thing off as a joke, but it totally was not a joke! I think Danny Lee’s girlfriend really is his savior. I mean, the guy posted this message: “She made me breakfast! Egg sandwich!” What is he- ten years old? I honestly think the presupposition is this: a millionaire golfer can’t possibly have that much trouble getting a girlfriend so this whole thing must be a joke, right?

Danny is originally from Incheon, South Korea and travels there frequently with his mom. However, he’s also a citizen of the great nation of New Zealand, which means his globe-hopping abilities are ever-more powerful. It never hurts to have passports from multiple places. Sasha’s full identity is still completely unknown, and after he posted the pictures hanging out with her, he deleted them. I’m fairly certain Danny Lee’s girlfriend doesn’t see him too often if at all. I actually get a kick out of Lee’s social media because it’s basically him taking pictures of himself looking sullen and lonely in airports. It’s really refreshing to see a professional athlete looking miserable!

Jason Day’s wife Ellie Day was taken out in a stretcher after being bowled over by LeBron James in January. Jason Day and his wife were sitting courtside for a Cavs game when LeBron dove for a ball and knocked Ellie Day over. She was transferred to a nearby hospital and was ultimately fine, outside of concussion symptoms and getting quite the scare. Jason Day defended the fact that he did nothing to protect his wife, by saying:

It happened so quick, I’m going to do that? I’m not going to stop a 260-pound guy that’s 6-8 running full speed. Ellie took it like a champ, though.

Ellie is from Lucas, Ohio and is two years older than Jason. The couple met by chance while Ellie was working at a restaurant in Twinsburg, Ohio but didn’t actually begin dating until a few years later. The couple eventually began dating thanks to an introduction by Jason’s coach/caddie, Colin Swatton. I wonder if the pair knew that they had met, prior to being formally introduced – or if they only figured that out later. It’s a strange coincidence, regardless.

Jason Day married the former Ellie Harvey in 2009. The couple lives in Ohio now, but lived out of an RV for awhile – traveling from tournament to tournament in their RV. Their two dogs accompanied them in the RV, but the RV situation became unrealistic when Ellie became pregnant for the first time. Their son, Dash James, was born in July 2012. The couple had their second child, a daughter named Lucy, in November of 2015.

On a random final note, Ellie once competed in dairy food competitions. Can someone please tell me what in the world is a dairy food competition? Is that like the college game where you have to drink an entire gallon of milk in 30 minutes? Or is it like identifying different types of cheeses while blindfolded? Or maybe it’s like that scene in Napoleon Dynamite where he identifies the defect in various jars of milk? I really hope that’s what it is because that scene is hilarious.

I think that’s where this confidence is coming from.”

And for those sports fans reading who think the entire sport of professional golf consists of one enormous bunch of lazy men and women who get paid far too much to do next to nothing, Erin Walker will prove you wrong. On November 14th, 2013, Erin Walker published an article in golf.com defending the sport and hailing the praises of its hardworking golfers. “Maybe there are a handful who are satisfied with just making cuts, making their check and heading home,” Erin Walker wrote, “We certainly don’t know any of them. Every guy we know is working as hard as he can to be as good as he can be… It’s a great life but not always an easy one.”

As a nationally ranked show jumper, Erin Walker (formerly Erin Stiegemeier) understands the dedication it takes to be a professional athlete. But the Walker’s aren’t just jocks; somehow they also manage to balance a very healthy family life. In fact, after this month’s PGA tour victory, Jimmy Walker’s next stop was his RV, where his wife and two sons Mclain, (age 3) and Beckett (age 1) greeted him. Perhaps we all could learn positive life lessons from this inspiring couple.

Daniel Berger’s girlfriend Tori Slater is a hot, slender blonde lady from South Florida. When I think of South Florida, I think of one thing: hot, slender blondes. She’s got close to 9000 followers and is already doing little advertising spots for fashion designers. She was in Santa Monica six weeks ago, where she posed for some pictures in a custom dress. Daniel and Tori were in the Los Angeles area to spend time at the UCLA Medical Center with a cancer patient.

It was certainly cool when Daniel Berger’s girlfriend got to hang with Mark Wahlberg as they apparently all played a round at the Riviera Country Club. She looked pretty giddy about the whole thing. I wonder if you compared the number of shots of Daniel to the number of shots of Tori’s delightful young pup, Kai- who would win? My money’s on the dog. Kai is a really photogenic chocolate labrador. He’s not really made out of chocolate. He’s brown-colored, for those of you who have never heard of a chocolate lab. Tori is totally enamored with him.

Tori (short for Victoria) and Daniel have been dating for about a year. She hits the driving range on occasion when Daniel is practicing, and a lot of their off-time is spent going to restaurants and bars, drinking white wine. Daniel Berger’s girlfriend has said her favorite meal is a summer salad, which is essentially a light greek salad with strawberries. Before Tori met Daniel, she was doing mostly all the same stuff like traveling to California, posing with cute puppies, and modeling. I wouldn’t exactly call her a professional model because she doesn’t do magazine covers but I would say the camera likes her. She previously spent time in Seattle and has traveled to Rome in the past couple years. She even took a picture driving an expensive Ferrari when she was in Rome.

Kevin Kisner’s wife Brittany Kisner married him on March 17 of 2012, and the couple have since had a daughter named Kathleen. She was born in early June of 2014. They live in a town called Aiken, South Carolina, where Kevin was born and grew up. It’s somewhat rare to hear about a professional athlete who still lives in his hometown. His father, Steve, lives in Aiken too. They at least had to leave town to travel to the church in Athens, Georgia where they were married. Brittany’s uncle was the reverend who married them. Brittany’s a Georgia girl and grew up in the small, scenic town of Madison in that state. It’s got about 3000 people in it, and it looks like the kind of place a movie would use for a “small southern town” setting.

Brittany herself is a certified speech and language pathologist. That makes her a master of science but not officially a doctor. If you’ve got a problem with slurring or lisping or swallowing your own tongue, Kevin Kisner’s wife Brittany can sort you out. It appears to me she’s not as big a hunting fan as Kevin, who frequently goes out with his dog to shoot stuff when he’s not on the tour.

In June of 2013, Kevin and Brittany went to a winery in Napa to drink some wine straight out of the barrel. They’re also bluegrass fans and went to a festival in Aiken that same year. I get the sense their relationship was a little more adventurous before the kid arrived, but that’s how it goes. They would go out for dinners and drinks with friends a bit more frequently around the time they were married. They still have fun and travel from time to time, and going to tour events isn’t completely out of the picture for Kevin Kisner’s wife and their daughter. There’s always tour nannies available!

Jordan Spieth’s girlfriend Annie Verret has been with him since his high school. She attended Ursuline Academy in Dallas, Texas and he attended nearby Jesuit College Prep in Dallas, Texas. Annie finished up a degree in business at Texas Tech and served as a business ambassador at the Rawls College of Business there. Jordan attended University of Texas, which wasn’t all that far from his sweetheart.

With a rocket strapped to his back, Jordan has taken over the PGA dominating majors and forcefully entering his name to the general public lexicon. Annie has become a mini-internet-celebrity, as the public waits in anticipation to see if she will be waiting to celebrate with Spieth as he wins yet another title.

Life is just getting going for Jordan Spieth’s girlfriend Annie Verret, She completed her degree at Texas Tech with a 4.0 GPA. Veret had her name on the dean’s list and was twice named to the President’s Honor Roll. I find that pretty impressive, given that she could have easily rested on her boyfriend’s laurels. Or coattails. Or something like that. Annie currently works at the The First Tee of Greater Dallas as an event coordinator. The organization helps less fortunate children afford to play golf, something they normally wouldn’t be able to do or likely even exposed to at all.

Jordan Spieth is just barely old enough to legally drink. Don’t let his age fool you, though, Jordan’s rocketing up the PGA ranks. Just look at what he accomplished last year. Last year, before he even turned twenty, steely-eyed Spieth notched his first PGA tour win in a three-way sudden-death playoff. He was the first teenager to win a PGA event in 82 years. Upon winning, Spieth was granted full status as a PGA member, earning him entry into a slew of majors, and was selected to play on the prestigious President’s Cup as the captain’s pick- a high honor. By the end of the year, Spieth had moved himself up to the 59th ranked golfer in the world. He started the year ranked 810th! To top it off, Jordan earned the PGA Tour Rookie of the Year Award.

Jordan has also started a charitable group called the Jordan Spieth Foundation, which helps out special needs kids and children with autism. Annie Verret is impressed, and so are we.

If there was a first wife of the PGA Tour, it would have to be Phil Mickelson’s wife Amy Mickelson, right? I guess you could have made the case for Tiger and Elin but after the incident with the 9-iron I don’t think they qualify anymore. Call me crazy but Amy doesn’t strike me as the type who would hunt Phil down with a club (well at least not for the reasons Elin chased Tiger around).

With the Master’s approaching I’m always reminded (maybe because CBS plays the commercial during every timeout of the NCAA Tournament) of Phil sinking the putt on 18 and embracing his wife Amy after winning his first green jacket. Their romance started when Phil was a senior in college at Arizona State University. Phil Mickelson’s wife Amy Mickelson, who then went by the name Amy McBride, was a cheerleader for the Phoenix Suns. Remember this because I’ll come back to this fact later.

Phil and Amy Mickelson married in 1996 and have three children, Amanda, Sophia, and Evan. When Evan was born both Amy and Evan had complications after birth. That is not the only brush with health issues the Mickelson family has had to deal with. In 2009 Amy was diagnosed with breast cancer and Phil took a leave from the tour to be with his family. Today Phil Mickelson’s wife Amy is still cancer free and active in many breast cancer charities.

While Phil and Amy appear to be a modern version of the Cleaver family things haven’t always been perfect. The internet, where anyone can start a rumor, was flooded with baseless claims that Phil and Amy were huge swingers and Phil set Amy up with Michael Jordan. This is wrong on so many levels, starting with the fact that Phil and Amy don’t seem like the swinger type, but also there is no reasonable way Amy would sleep with Michael Jordan. Think about it, Amy, who was a cheerleader for the Phoenix Suns, is going to sleep with the man who took down her team in the NBA Finals? If you had said Detlef Schrempf maybe I would have entertained the thought but I’m calling b.s. on Jordan. Along with the wife swapping rumor there have also been completely fabricated and unfounded whispers about Phil having an illegitimate child with a woman in Ohio.

Charles Howell III’s wife Heather Howell is most certainly an upgrade from his high school girfriend, Big Bertha. That’s his joke about being a massive geek in high school and being married to his clubs. Apparently his mother would ask him about why he didn’t try to get with chicks, and he’d tell her “girls cause bogeys.” That’s how you get on the PGA Tour, folks- sacrifice.

Now he’s got a real lady and that lady is the magnificent Heather, who has sired two of his kin. Yes, one of them is Charles Howell IV. Once a lineage commits to a name, it sort of seems imperative to get another son just so you can keep the streak going. Their other child is named Ashley. They live in the great city of Orlando with the little ones. As you might’ve guessed if you’ve read a lot of golfer’s wives posts here, it’s pretty common for pro’s and their families to reside in Florida. They’ve got a huge amount of high quality golf courses, and the weather is always amazing. Charles Howell’s wife Heather also accompanies him on the road quite a bit for tournaments. He’s said they have a great time together, and having a bunch of smiling kids to come back to after a tough round eases the pressure of tournament life.

Charles Howell III and the former Heather Myers also are big into fishing. They’ve been known to cast a few lines into Lake Monroe in Sanford, Florida. I’ve even seen a few of their catches in the local paper. Oddly, their actual names weren’t mentioned once in the photo the local paper used of them, and the article said nothing about them. They had been avid fishers before the kids, too. Having married in 2002, they waited a full ten years to have their children. That’s a lot of tournament travel and extracurricular activities. It seems like the ideal strategy for a professional golfer and his wife.

Let’s end this post with an odd fact: Charles Howell III is NOT the character’s name from Gilligan’s Island. That was Thurston Howell. Though, if Gilligan’s Island were real life, I would definitely believe that Thurston Howell could be a distant great-uncle of Charles Howell III.

Shane Lowry’s girlfriend Wendy Honner is actually Shane Lowry’s fiancee and soon to be Shane Lowry’s wife. The couple met for the first time randomly on a night out with friends and were instantly drawn together. They were engaged in December of 2014 and is hoping to tie the knot at some point in 2016. The future Mrs. Shane Lowry is not afraid to let the world know when she’s proud of him. Wendy Honner is quick to go to Twitter to brag about Lowry’s finish in the most recent tournament. Hell, I brag to the world when my wife and I put our kids to bed without incident, so I get it. If Shane manages to win the 2016 Master’s you can only imagine the celebration to be held in the Twitterverse.

In preparation for the 2016 Master’s, the annual Par 3 Contest was held. The Par 3 is a fun event where the players go out and play a quick 9 on, you guessed it, Par 3’s. The caddies for the Par 3 are not your traditional caddies. No one really cares about a bump and run, or the left handed slope approaching the cup. While there are plenty of golfers kids, and old college buddies who put on the all white caddy coveralls, Shane Lowry’s girlfriend took the reins for him. While Lowry didn’t ace out like nine of his fellow PGA pros, I’m sure he had as good a time as anyone in the field.

Shane Lowry’s girlfriend Wendy Honner (or if you’re reading this post in a year, Shane Lowry’s wife), is vocal in her support of kidney disease. In an incredible story, Wendy’s sister Melissa donated a kidney to their sister Alison. Shane got in on the act, donating signed gear and memorabilia to benefit the Irish Kidney Association.

Scott Piercy’s wife Sara Piercy is a massive Howard Stern fan. She’s also a huge fan of posting overly “kissy” pictures of herself with Mr. Piercy. It’s to the point where it almost seems like she’s overcompensating or something. Like, “Look at how much we love each otherrrrr!” She’s also a big Donald Trump fan, so I think at this point she’s got two strikes against her and one working for her, but we’re not going to get to bogged down in her personal beliefs or which one is a pro or con (Baba Booey!!). Instead, we’ll focus mostly on her cursory opinions, anecdotes, and life with Scott.

Firstly, Scott Piercy’s wife Sara Piercy has been with him since high school, and that sometimes means they’ve only been with each other. You may or may not have needed that extra bit of insight, but it’s free of charge. In a recent interview with a golf fan blog, she said that being a golf wife was cool because she’d always been into sports and loves the excitement of the tour. Her standby response to “how do you do it with him always gone?” is “how do you do it with him always there?” Her favorite tournament that Scott plays in is the Waste Management Phoenix Open, which sounds like a joke but is in fact a real tournament. She’s also a huge fan of baseball and goes to pro games whenever they’re in a city with one happening.

Scott and Sara have three sons named Cole, Brennan, and Jett. The family lives in Las Vegas in Hooks Residence. Scott Piercy’s wife also gave some tips about being a PGA wife: pack a ton of sunblock, stay tipsy, and “don’t stuff your face.” I’d say those are smart tips, so that’s another point for her. Bernhard Langer’s wife Vikki Carol is a wife we never thought we’d be covering on this site.

And to be clear, that is not a knock on Ms. Carol. But Bernhard Langer is a name that’s been off the leaderboards for a while, and wasn’t on our radar to rejoin the final pairing on a major Sunday. For those needing a quick refresher, Bernhard Langer is actually a two times Master’s champion winning in 1985 and 1993. In the 1985 season, he was ranked as the number one player in the world.

Now, 1984 is around the time when Bernhard Langer’s wife Vikki Carol comes into the discussion. The couple was married in 1984, right before Bernhard’s rise to the top of the golfing world. Langer originally hails from Germany, but met Vikki in Florida, where they now make their permanent residence in Boca Raton. The couple has four children, Jackie, Stefan, Jason and Christina.

Besides thirty two years of marriage, Bernhard Langer’s wife Vikki Carol has more in common than surface level familial details. In a story on Golf.com, Bernhard talks about his desire to be born again. This intense desire also apparently happened to Vikki, though she was not interviewed for the piece.

That same article notes that Bernhard is affectionately called “the Game’s Man of Mystery,” which we fully concur with.  The minimal details about Bernhard Langer’s life extend to Bernhard Langer’s wife Vikki Carol as well.  We do know that Bernhard Langer doesn’t like change (his words).  In an interview with the Palm Beach Post,

When you look at my life, I still have the same wife; I’ve had the same coach for 35 years, and had the same manager for 35 years. I had one caddy for 24 years.  I don’t like change.

Look, when it works, it works.  And clearly it works with Vikki Carol.  We’ll see if that consistency pays off heading into the final day of the 2016 Masters with Langer holding on to second place.

Danny Willett’s wife Nicole Willett gave birth to the couple’s first child, a son named Zachariah James Willett. This would be a smaller story if it wasn’t for the fact that this occurred on March 30th, 2016 – less than 2 weeks from the Masters. Willett chose to play at the Masters anyway.

Danny Willett’s wife Nicole Willett officially took his hand in marriage in 2012. The couple is living it up as Danny continues to impress on the Tour. At the start of this month, the couple could be seen living it up in London, attending Les Miserables and drinking champagne. Not having a kid yet, as we’ve seen, means the couple can go out and spend some golf bucks all the time. They do a lot of hanging out with their young nieces and nephews though, so I’d expect them to have a child within two years. That’s generally how these things go.

Nicole watched the Irish Open with a big golf umbrella, seated next to Alison Clarke, who happens to be the founder of Ireland’s top model agency. Danny Willett’s wife also did us the favor of documenting what room service looks like for someone staying at the Irish Open by posting a picture of it untouched on her Twitter account, and as you might imagine it’s pretty classy. Even the Diet Coke is stylized in a kind of old-fashioned way, but that might just be what they look like in Ireland. Another one of Nicole’s favorite things to show off on the net is her dog, a little pug.

Danny and Nicole recently bought a new place, and they’ve been getting to know the grounds by taking their pug on walks. It’s got big fields and forests surrounding it, and it looks like the kind of place you could practice your swing. Nicole spends a good deal of time traveling to Danny’s tournaments as well. She was there for his recent action at the Open, and she mentioned how proud she was of him in a photo she took from the restaurant that overlooks the course. When Father’s Day rolled around, Danny Willett’s wife Nicole Willett even posted a picture of their wedding where her father was present to give her away. I’ve watched a few clips of Nicole golfing too, and she’s not bad.

Carson Wentz’s girlfriend Melissa Uhrich looks like she’s super young in most of her pictures. That’s because she’s still very young and dating a big NFL draft prospect. They’re both from Bismarck, North Dakota and attended Bismarck High School. They’re both athletes (Melissa was an all-state runner in high school). She’s still a strong runner even though she’s gone through not one but two torn ACL’s! Any time I hear about a torn ACL, a montage of initial sadness followed by focused physical rehabilitation pops into my head to the tune of Michael Sembello’s “Maniac.” Imagine having two of those montages in your life!

Melissa’s hobbies are the same as Carson’s, from what I can tell. They do the same stuff together: hunting, praying, and hiking. They have a handsome golden retriever together named Henley, and he tags along on their adventures sometimes. Living in North Dakota means you’ve got access to the great outdoors pretty much whenever you want. It also means football is life and fishing and shooting animals is part of the culture. I’ve also seen Carson Wentz’s girlfriend using power tools together in his family’s workshop, so I guess you can add that to the list of hobbies, though that’s almost always out of necessity.

Based on Melissa’s bio sheet from Concordia University in Minnesota, we were able to get a hold of a more detailed list of personal attributes. She’s 5’10” and her favorite food is noodles. Her favorite movie is “Coach Carter” while her favorite television show is “Friends.” If she weren’t a runner, she said she’d like to be involved in volleyball, and that’s not a stretch because of her height. Her bucket list includes sky-diving (everyone says that) and she considers herself relatively talented with art. Carson Wentz’s girlfriend says she plans on being a nurse after she graduates. We’ll see if that’s necessary once he’s drafted.

Jared Goff’s mom and sister are his support system. Normally on this site, we’d be prepping to learn about Jared Goff’s girlfriend before the draft. And while I’m not trying to blow up his spot, it seems like Jared is kind of a momma’s boy. He posts a lot of pictures of him with his mom, and there’s nothing out there about his dating life. There’s nothing wrong with that at all. It’s just that if you’re looking for the football badboy, Jared Goff may not be your man, ladies. However, if you’re looking for wholesome American Ken-doll football guy, you found him! We’re still talking about a kid here, guys. When you’re staring at the NFL straight out of college, you need your family behind you. Heck, it even helps to have a snuggly buddy, and Jared’s dog Wilson is a golden retriever with a lot of personality.

So let me try to introduce you briefly to Jared Goff’s mom and sister. Mom is named Nancy Goff, and she suffered through being a baseball wife in the 90’s while his dad, Jerry, was a pro catcher for a bunch of teams. That’s a tough gig because it destroys your knees and joints after awhile. In six years the guy only played 90 games. His salary was 100K and 145K back in the early 90’s so it wasn’t such a bad gig. They’re California people. Before Jared’s dad was a pro baseballer, he was an athlete at Cal just like little Jared.

Jared’s mom actually traveled to Alcatraz with him in March. Jared’s sister Lauren Goff also attends Cal, and is obsessed with the show “The Office” which is a distant memory for me. I remember watching that show about a decade ago, but I guess it’s sort of timeless if you’re experiencing it for the first time? Jared Goff’s sister Lauren Goff is the queen of the overrated meme retweet. You know those types of people that just gunk up your feed with stuff created by other people? Hey, she’s a young college kid having fun with her sorority and making friends. She’ll be cheering on her brother at gigantic pro stadiums soon enough…

Ric Flair’s wife Jackie Beems has had to deal with a lot since he stopped wrestling full time. Upon hearing reports of another incident at Logan Airport in Boston, it sounds like this trend will continue. We’re getting depressed with the frequency we have to write this post. You know the post by now, “Professional Athlete X involved in alleged domestic assault.” However, despite the frequency that we’re forced to write this refrain, it’s not every day when the details pan out like this.

Wrestling legend, icon, WWE Hall of Famer, and 16 time World Champion Ric Flair has finally started to slow down on the frequency of his appearances with any of the various professional wrestling organizations. Apparently time at home has started generating some issues with his wife, Jacqueline Bains Beems.Ric Flair’s wife Jackie Beems is alleged to have attacked Flair in their Charlotte condo on Monday, June 25, 2012. Police were called to the residence around 9:40pm, but noted that Flair’s injuries did not require medical attention, and no arrests were made. While this isn’t a joking matter, no one can be surprised that Flair refused any medical treatment, and denied pressing charges… I mean how would that go down in the locker room at Raw, Smackdown or TNA? Beems has had a rough start to 2012, after being popped for DUI on March 31, 2012.

It’s not the first time the two have been engaged in a domestic altercation, after Beems was previously arrested for assault in 2010 after allegedly punching The Nature Boy in the face. Flair again refused medical treatment in that altercation and charges were dropped later that summer. In neither case were there any allegations of Flair laying hands on Beems.

Flair and Beems were married in 2010, which was Flair’s fourth marriage. His first marriage to Leslie Goodman began in 1971 to 1983. He married his second wife, Elizabeth Flair later in 1983, which lasted until 2006. In 2006, Flair tied the know with Tiffany VanDenmark, which ended in late 2009. Flair and Beems actually met in 2004, which happened to land during his second marriage.

On Sunday at the 2011 World Series of Poker, the tournament was left with 41 players. David Sands was part of a table breaking up, and after a card drawing amongst his former table mates, he drew the card to go to the ESPN feature table. Coincidentally, David Sands walked in and did what any man would do: sit next to the hottest chick in the room. It just so happened, that this card playing smokeshow and the inarguably hottest player left in the tournament, was his girlfriend of 6 years, Erika Moutinho (who also happened to be the last female left in the tournament). While some questions of poker ethics arise from a couple dating one another being seated at the same table, both insisted they would play the cards dealt the right way.
Erika ultimately finished 29th in the tournament.

The 26 year old Sands and the 25 year old Moutinho met while traveling through Australia separately and began dating almost 6 years ago. It was then that Sands introduced Moutinho to online poker, who admits she’s been hooked ever since.
Moutinho formerly worked as a casting agent before quitting to play poker full-time.
