Larry Fedora’s wife Christi Fedora is what Larry calls the “backbone of the family.” When you’re talking about football coaches, this kind of thing is common. The husband generally spends very little time with the family as compared with the wife, and Christi is no exception. She is a teacher and artist, and she’s been known to paint bluebonnets and decorate the house with her paintings.

Larry Fedora’s wife Christi is also the mother of four kids, and they grew up moving from place to place, following their dad around as he went from coaching job to coaching job. It was only in 2008 that he became the head coach of Southern Mississippi, and that was when he started to gain prominence and eventually get the high profile job of head coach of North Carolina, a school with over twenty active NFL players at the moment.

Christi has said that when they do something as a family, “its usually something competitive.” This is probably because Larry likes to compete, and the pattern of competing was learned from him. He would regularly do basketball shooting competitions with his son, Dillon, before he headed off to college. Speaking of college, Larry’s wife Christi met him while they were students at Austin College in Sherman, Texas. Christi has been able to retain some of her artistic talents by also retaining a studio in their home whenever they move. When they were in Mississippi, she had a studio on the third floor of their house where she would retreat to do some painting, and now she’s got one at their current home. Christi also raised her kids to go to bible study classes while they were growing up, and it probably was a good way to get a little free time for herself as well. Raising four kids with two dogs while the husband is generally away.

Okay so let’s catch you up on the most recent Ronda Rousey goings-on. Ronda Rousey’s boyfriend Travis Browne is in the middle of a controversy that he allegedly started. We posted last year about Ronda’s now ex-boyfriend Brendan Schaub. That’s over. Ronda has apparently been dating this fella’ Travis for awhile, and he’s a UFC fighter who is still technically married to a woman named Jenna Webb. Jenna is accusing him of abusing her and pressing charges against him. She provided photos to investigators and posted them online. She also said something to the effect of “it’s just a matter of time before Ronda sees his true colors.”

Some other websites have also tied this new relationship of Ronda’s into her talk about do-nothing-bitches or “DNB’s” for short. Jenna Webb commented on her Instagram “who’s the DNB now?” after the found out about Ronda Rousey’s boyfriend Travis Browne being with her. I think Jenna’s just having a tough time with the recent changes in her life, and she believes Ronda was dating Travis for a long time while she was still with him (they’re married). It’s a pretty raw deal for Ronda. Not only did she get allegedly abused by Travis, but the guy was cheating on her for a long while with Ronda. I don’t think that necessarily makes Ronda a do-nothing-bitch. On the contrary, she does a lot of stuff, but I think it’s a convenient way to tie in her interesting catch phrase into the controversy.

I think Ronda is kind of getting a bad PR deal out of all this. Sure, she was banging a married guy, but why should she take flack for his alleged crimes? Maybe she wanted to continue her sparring training in her private life? I kid, of course. Everything we’re talking about has not been proven, and the UFC investigation that was conducted came up inconclusive so nobody really knows what happened, I guess.

Amir Khan’s wife Faryal Makhdoom has somehow managed to stay married with him after what appears to be a huge list of follies on his part. As far as stories, allegations, and proven evidence of infidelities go, you can’t do much worse than this fella’ right here. We’ll try to tackle at least some of those stories in a minute, but let’s first talk a bit about who Faryal Makhdoom is herself.

Faryal was a student when Amir met her, and she’s since become something of a model and fashion icon. Unfortunately, Khan’s wife Faryal is not much of an interview. She’s the type to laugh nervously after every sentence, and Amir himself follows suit. Hey, they’re in the fight game; they’re not exactly hopping from one intellectual sphere to another. Well, on to these stories. I suppose the first and biggest story revolved around cheating allegations with a woman named Natalie Fox, who Faryal apparently tried to stop from texting Amir and vice versa. She even proposed to meet with Natalie in order to get the story straight, and apparently they all came to the conclusion that Amir had slept with Natalie before he started dating Amir, though she first told Faryal they got together two weeks before their engagement.

So they got over that hurdle, and Amir and his wife Faryal seemed to be fine, but then allegation after allegation kept cropping up, and the most damning one (at least of the ones I’ve read) was from French model Eglantine Aguilar. She claims Amir contacted her via Instagram and flew her from Paris into London to have relations. Eglantine took photos of his possessions as proof of her conquest and said that he’s a huge hypocrite because he claims to be a family man and yet beds models left and right. She also said he’s a good lover but a simple man. There’s a host of other allegations, but we’ll not get into those because we don’t want to be seen as the Scotland Yard of Boxing Flings.

Tracy Wolfson’s husband David Reichel is the father of their three children, all boys. They all live in New Jersey together, as Tracy’s base of operations is New York. In this way, she has a lot in common with Jamie Erdahl. New York City and specifically Manhattan is considered to be ground zero for sports broadcasting since the big networks like CBS, NBC, and ABC are all headquartered there. Tracy works mostly for CBS and does a ton of NFL work, but she’s also known for doing NBA work as well. I’ve seen countless pictures of her standing next to guys like Shaq. I’d tell you she looks like a dwarf next to him, but so doesn’t everyone.

Tracy started working as a broadcaster in 2000 in the city of Trenton, though she’d been working as a researcher for CBS before that. For fun, Tracy likes to go snowboarding in the winter. Tracy Wolfson’s husband has been on more than one winter trip to the mountains with her. I’ve got no idea if he’s as skilled as she is, but I think it’s doubtful based on where she chooses to board. They’ll make trips to Beaver Creek, Colorado, a place well known for having serious slopes. This really does seem to be her big hobby. On multiple weeks off, she ends up there. Otherwise, she’s swamped with work just like every other big-time broadcaster. Traveling everywhere all the time is standard for the job.

On March 17 of this year, Tracy will turn forty. In my opinion, she looks a lot younger than that. Tracy Wolfson’s husband David should take her to Europe, though having three kids makes that kind of trip tough. Just a few years ago, she took a trip to Dublin, Ireland to do some golf coverage. It’s tricky, but taking the family along for work trips like that is a nice bonus of her job. In reality, that kind of thing rarely works out for her since she’s so busy.

I’m pretty sure there’s a lot of men out there who’re jealous of Jamie Erdahl’s boyfriend Sam Buckman. The guy’s apparently a great guy, too, so it makes it all the more stinging for those fans of hers. I, on the other hand, could care less that the lovely Jamie is hitched.  I no longer have access to any sportscasting, so I haven’t been able to develop a crush on her. She’s just a blonde woman to me, and thus I can describe her lifestyle without any personal bias [Editor’s note: Hey, we had her back when she was the Bruins sideline reporter.  She’s one of ours!]

First off, most of the activities sportscasters and broadcasters do off the field tend to involve sports, and Sam himself is a sports fan (as are most American men). That in itself works out for Jamie. Jamie Erdahl’s boyfriend is a guy who sells medical equipment. Jamie does a lot more traveling than Sam does for her job, but Sam himself often has to travel on a more regional scale. For instance, Sam may have to travel to Buffalo to do some selling to a hospital there, but Jamie may have to travel to London to commentate on an NFL exhibition there. The couple reside in New York. Jamie posted a picture of a watch that Sam bought her for her birthday about two months ago. It was pretty nice.

Jamie’s a down-to-earth kind of person. She likes eating at Shake Shack, a New York burger chain that’s been gaining a lot of steam the past few years. On 8th Avenue, there’s a huge Shake Shack with a 42nd St.-style neon sign. Some people wonder what the big draw is, and the answer, as Jamie could tell you, is simple: tasty burgers and fries. Also, in case you’re wondering what allergies Jamie has: she’s allergic to seventeen different types of trees, cats, and soy beans.

Jenny Dell’s boyfriend Will Middlebrooks is now firmly entrenched in a sporty and high-energy lifestyle. There’s a definite pattern in lifestyle among sideline reporters and broadcasters. For professional reason, it usually includes a lot of travel. For personal and hobby reasons, it usually includes lots of hiking and recreational sports such as golf. Hey, if you’re a already a baseball player, it’s not like you’re going to be averse to hiking. The hiking and beach-going thing is just standard fare for these two lovebirds.

If you’re on the internet looking up Jenny Dell, then you’ll probably already have some idea that she’s a sports broadcaster who’s worked in a variety of fields. In fact, Jenny posted a picture of her first week of work recently. It was eight years ago that she started as a production assistant at ESPN working on games for the Denver Nuggets. Now that she’s had eight full years of experience in sports broadcasting, I’m wondering if she’ll relocate given that Will has been traded to Milwaukee. Jenny Dell’s boyfriend was previously a San Diego Padres guy. He was slumping and taking trips to the minor leagues. Now it appears that he’s actually been traded to the Brewers’ minor league team with an invitation to their next spring training.

Jenny has done a lot of work for the Red Sox organization. She broadcasted various spots for pre-game, post-game, and regular games. She even did a show called the Ultimate Red Sox Show. In between all their work, the two very busy sports people went on vacation to Hawaii to really chill out. Jenny Dell’s boyfriend Will was glad she stopped over in San Diego so often during his season. She hangs out with him and catches rays on the beach. I’m always surprised when couples like this can make it work, to be honest. It takes serious dedication considering just how busy the two of them are combined.

BMX Icon and X-Games Legend Dave Mirra was found dead after an apparent suicide on February 4, 2016. Dave Mirra’s wife Lauren Blackwell Mirra survives him along with their two children.

Police in Greenville, North Carolina responded to a call for an apparent suicide around 4pm. Officers found Mirra with a self-inflicted gunshot wound while sitting in a pick up truck. Aound 3pm, not long before police were called to the scene, Mirra was posting to social media, including an image where Dave Mirra’s wife is called “My rock! Thank god”

Mirra was in the Greenville area visiting with friends. Friend Ryan Nyquist, and brother Tim Mirra, are among those who reside in the area of more than twenty pro BMX riders. The Mirra’s helped develop the town into a popular location for BMX riders, affectionately known as Protown. Mirra built a 15,000-square-foot training complex outside of Greenville, considered one of the best facilities in the world. After learning of the apparent suicide, the mayor of Greenville praised Mirra as “a great friend and wonderful human being.”

Dave Mirra was a proud father, who regularly put his daughters up on his Instagram page. Dave and Lauren married in November 2006, after a lengthy time dating. Dave Mirra’s wife Lauren Blackwell Mirra gave birth to the couples two young daughters. The family also had two small dogs.

Dave Mirra will be remembered as a legend in the BMX World. The holder of 11 gold medals in the X-Games, he helped revolutionize and mainstream the sport. He crossed over into mainstream media, most notably by briefly hosting Real World/Road Rules Challenge on MTV. Mirra was the namesake of his own Playstation video game in the early 2000s, while also holding sponsorship deals including Monster Energy, Puma, Nike, Bell Helmets and Subaru.

Dave Mirra was 41 years old.

Bret Hart’s wife Stephanie Hart is a great match for Bret because she’s just about as cool as he is.  A lot of people remember Bret Hart from the 1980’s and 1990’s as one of the undisputed kings in the world of professional wrestling. The guy is a wrestling and entertainment icon. He was my favorite wrestler when I was a kid.  Stephanie is originally from San Francisco and now resides in Calgary with her husband. The two were married in 2010 and she is Bret’s third wife. There’s most definitely a huge age gap between them, but trust me I ain’t judging. Age gaps are fun! You get to teach each other about generational stuff like hashtagging and Snapchat (for Stephanie) and Led Zeppelin and punk music (for Bret). Seriously, being twenty in 1977 is pretty underrated. There’s a bunch more crappier times to be twenty years old.

It should be noted that Bret Hart officially divorced his first wife hours before his stroke in 2002, according to his Wiki page. Sadly, the only wrestler that visited Bret in the hospital after his stroke was Roddy Piper. I really do not understand that. I mean, you’ve gotta’ be kidding me. The reason I’m mentioning the health problem is because Bret Hart’s wife Stephanie Hart has had to deal with a lot of the repercussions of the stroke. Apparently it paralyzed half of Bret’s body for months and left him with a kind of emotional imbalance. On top of all that, poor Bret announced that he was diagnosed with prostate cancer on February 1. He’s since undergone surgery, and he’s said that things are “looking up.” Well, I really hope so.

Stephanie has been a total rock throughout this new trauma. Bret Hart’s wife has seen a lot of physical problems plague Bret now that he’s in his late 50’s. Let me give you an example: he broke his wrist way back in 1981 and only now got it fixed by having metal rods inserted into it. Who do you think goes with him to the hospital and sticks by his side for stuff like that? Granted, wrist surgery isn’t that big a deal, but nobody likes having rods stuck in their wrist. Just imagine how much body/pain issues this guy has to deal with all the time. Retired pro wrestlers have chronic arthritis, tendinitis, joint pain like you wouldn’t believe. They rival football players, hockey players, and boxers for longterm physical messed-uppedness. No more sharpshooters for Bret. Just good times with the family and Stephanie.

Before Sting’s wife Sabine entered the picture, wrestling legend Sting’s ex-wife Sue Borden got her last name from Sting after they married in the 80’s. Apparently Sting was taking in some pretty small paychecks and Sue said she knew from the beginning that he was really close to being successful because his charisma at the matches was off the charts. It’s great that she was so supportive of him from the start. The couple had two boys in the late 1980’s and later a daughter in 2000.

The 90’s was a pretty rough ride for Sue. Before becoming Sting’s ex-wife, she was the only one around most of the time. She had to witness Sting’s journey battling substance abuse. Sue also had to take care of their two boys the whole time. Sting told her that he was addicted to painkillers in the 90’s, and Sue suggested going to rehab. Sting said he didn’t need to, but after thirty days he realized he couldn’t stop. That’s when he Sting became a born-again and confessed to Sue that he’d had a bunch of affairs and was basically a huge mess. Sue said “he was just a 180-degree, completely different man from that moment of confessing to me the life that he had led…”

Then Sting’s ex-wife Sue eventually became a hardcore religious lady. So that worked for them for another 12 years or so, but then they finally divorced in 2010. After five years and some dating, Sting married a younger girl named Sabine in April of 2015. I saw a picture of the ceremony because one of Sting’s Christian buddies tweeted it. Once Sting and Sue’s boys grew up, they actually grew into some pretty decent football players, and one of them was invited to the Kansas City Chiefs’ rookie camp to try out for the team. I’m pretty sure he didn’t make it though because he doesn’t show up in pro-football reference. Still, that’s impressive that he was able to continue football into the rookie camp.

So about this: Cameron Jordan’s girlfriend is imaginary, but he was interviewed by this chick named Lindsay Brauner and asked a question regarding Manti T’eo. The question was “If you had to make up a fake girlfriend, who would it be and why?” The video is on YouTube. Now, Cameron Jordan is sort of funny, but this bit goes on for way, way too long. Jordan doen’t really come up with anything super creative, but his response is thoughtful. The other thing is– I think Lindsay Brauner is into him. I just sort of get that vibe. Most times when someone asks a questions like this, they’re curious for themselves.

Jordan’s response was “Carmille Ray (?) meets Leona Lewis meets Jennifer Hudson.” Leona Lewis yes please! Okay, so that’s cool but who is Carmille Ray? Maybe I am not understanding the first name but I have never heard of her. Lindsay Brauner goes on to say that’s a lot of meeting, and Jordan says “Maybe a little Candace Parker for the height.” Good choice. If I were 6’4″ and 287 pounds I definitely would not mind a girl who’s also 6’4″. Alas, I am 5’9″ and Candace Parker would be far too intimidating a girl for me. No man wants to have to tilt his head upwards toward the sky to gaze into his lady’s eyes, and no girl wants to have to look down at a shrimpy little fellow. The whole bit goes on and on and includes details about how Jordan wouldn’t really even see her in real life and Skypes her for eight hours a night and blah blah blah. Lindsay Brauner is giving her best effort here, but she is no SNL hopeful. I have to say Cam Jordan is far more creative than most defensive ends I’ve seen interviewed. Overall, I give this segment a 6 out of 10 (whereas most brief interviews with football players are like a 1 out of 10).

A quick note about this chick Lindsay Brauner: she’s a young grad of Cal who is now trying to break into television reporting. She’s done a few reports for KCRA (a station for Modesto, Stockton, and Sacramento). I’d recommend she gets a vocal coach to allow her to speak more clearly and eliminate some of the thinness in her voice, and she should also get a better cameraman.

Paige VanZant’s boyfriend Cody Garbrandt is actually her ex-boyfriend. Garbrandt is an MMA fighter just like her, which was used against him in the breakup. Paige says they broke up because they’re both too busy pursuing their fighting careers to sustain a relationship. This is almost never the actual reason, guys. There’s countless examples in sports of incredibly busy people who sustain relationships because they simply choose to. It seems to me that one or both of them simply wasn’t into it enough to keep it going and they both accepted the business excuse to bow out. Yes, I’m being a real busybody here, but it has to be said. To take it a step further, if I’m reading the tea leaves correctly, I’m fairly confident it was his decision to end it based on the way Paige describes it. Either way, Paige gets to participate in an activity other than punching, kicking, and wrestling: Dancing With The Stars! She’ll be competing with the likes of Doug Flutie in the next season.

Paige joked that “He broke up with me because I knocked him out in training.” Now, I think Paige VanZant’s ex-boyfriend did break up with her, but it clearly wasn’t because she knocked him out in training. There’s no real evidence that actually happened, nor can we actually ascertain how the breakup went down. In this case, it is strictly my estimation that Mr. Garbrandt was the initiator of the breakup. Paige goes on in the interview to describe their relationship as “very very cool,” and says they “still see each other all the time.” I’ll let you make of that what you will without any further comments.

Outside of the relationship chatter, there’s not all that much to talk about when it comes to Paige VanZant’s ex-boyfriend just because Paige VanZant seems more interesting than he is. She attended college at the age of 16, which makes her one of the brightest young fighters in the sport. She rides dirt bikes, fishes, and hunts according to her Wikipedia. When she was 18 years old, she became a professional fighter.

We’ve known about Steve Prohm’s wife Katie Prohm for years…. back when she was Steve Prohm’s girlfriend during their time at Murray State. After being advised by an anonymous tipster that we should look into Steve Prohm’s girlfriend and engaging in some serious internet sleuthing, we found out a few things back then. Four years later, and we know a little more, though not much.

Steve Prohm’s wife Katie was one of the first people Steve Prohm thanked in his introductory press conference at Iowa State in 2015.  Katie became Katie Prohm on  June 1, 2013 when they were married in Paducah, Kansas.  The couple had their first child, Cass on March 11, 2015. Most coaches focus their social media on the more innocuous, boring, boiler plater messages. Steve Prohm ain’t most coaches, folks. His Twitter timeline is filled with personal anecdotes, and pictures of his family. The very proud father and wife isn’t shy about showing off the people he goes to work for every day and lets everyone into his world.

Back in 2012, we were very proud of our sleuthing.  There was almost no information at the time, but we tracked out the woman who later turned out to be Katie Prohm.  The couple had only been photographed together twice so far after Murray State games. The first time, the caption read something along the lines of “Steve Prohm is congratulated by Murray State fan Katie Ross.” The second photo, from March 5, 2012 shows Steve Prohm kissing someone (but her face is blocked), identified in the captions as “Steve Prohm’s Girlfriend Katie Ross”. So, one day she’s just a fan – and then the kiss happens and everything changes (and we get tips to look into her).   Marriage, kids… yup – everything changes.

A Katie Ross attended Murray High School in 2003 and ran track and field for them. Katie Ross also received her B.S. from Murray State University and now teaches 6th grade math and language arts at Calloway County Middle School. She also coaches the Middle School Track Team. We don’t know for sure that is her – though it would certainly seem plausible, especially given all the Murray, KY ties and the fact that her bio photo looks pretty much identical. You be the judge.

Jim Larranaga’s wife Liz Larranaga is the mother of their two fully grown sons, Jay and Jon.   Jon’s just a normal fella’ making a living and raising kids of his own. Jay is actually an assistant coach for the Boston Celtics.  Back when Jim was the head coach for Bowling Green, he used to take his whole team to Outback Steakhouse for dinner the night before a big game day. His wife would also come along and sort of just hang out with the team. Apparently she would usually just order a salad, but in the article depicting the night before their big game against Florida in the 2006 Final Four, she saw that a bunch of the players had ordered lobster tails and asked Jim if it would be alright if she got one too. Jim made a smart-alecky remark about Liz enjoying being on scholarship, and Liz fired back that she deserved it since she’d been “a walk-on for thirty-five years.” Gotta’ love a quick-witted comeback.

Jim first met Liz in their neighborhood in The Bronx. This was way back in the early 1960’s, and Jim Larranaga’s wife used to attend these community dances at The Bronx Irish Center. He asked her to dance, and she liked his moves. They saw each other a few more times, and Jim asked her out. They dated until Jim started attending Providence College. Liz was poor and didn’t have the money to attend college so instead began working at the NYC Department of Relocation. It sounds like a pretty crummy job, but at least she was able to find work. Two years later, Jim and Liz reconnected at another dance, and after that they committed to a long-distance relationship.

A little while later, Jim Larranaga’s wife married him in 1971. They moved to North Carolina so Jim could start his coaching career as an assistant coach at Davidson College. Since that time, they’ve moved a whole bunch of times. Liz has explained that upon marriage, she realized exactly what kind of life they’d be living: a basketball-centric one. I’d say his relocations are about par for the course when it comes to NCAA coaches. The guy’s got a career record of 588-390 so he certainly qualifies as one of the top coaches.

Mark Turgeon’s wife Ann Turgeon has to deal with what is clinically known obsessive compulsive disorder in her husband. I’m no doctor, but you probably don’t need a degree to make this diagnosis. A great example is how he stopped kissing his wife goodbye because he realized he hadn’t kissed her before a stretch of wins. When you hear about one of these types of things, it simply sounds a little quirky. But imagine having to live with the guy and witness dozens upon dozens of these behaviors pile up! I feel for you, Ann.

The couple have two sons, Leo and William, and a daughter, Ella. Mark Turgeon’s wife recently told The Washington Post that she barely sees him around this time. That’s standard for a coach’s wife around tournament time. It’s standard around season time, for that matter. She said that she essentially just sends him text updates about their kids, but aside from that there’s no real interaction at all. Ann (nee Fowler) is originally from Chicago, and her mother used to drive all over the midwest just to watch the games while Mark was coach at Nebraska. Ann has been known to travel only occasionally, according to another short report by The Baltimore Sun. They traveled to Mexico with their kids in order to enjoy Cancun and for Mark and his team to participate in something called the Cancun Challenge.

Family vacations seem to be one of the ways Mark Turgeon’s wife Ann spends quality time with Mark. She’s already with the kids most of the time while he’s away coaching. Way back in 2008 they traveled to San Antonio to check out the Alamo. It looks like they generally take a trip every offseason. During the tournament, Mark will occasionally take one of his kids on the road with him if he believes it’s good luck. Ann described him taking Leo and Will in two different seasons because of his superstitions. Ann told Mark that his sons didn’t ask for tickets for a game so they weren’t going. Mark said he thought it was a good idea for them not to go since they lost the year before when they attended. I think Mark should hire some people to perform rain dances before every game, and his wife should buy him some magical rocks to rub together every hour on the hour.

Bill Kennedy’s wife Mary Kennedy scored major points with her husband for “sprucing up” his office while he lay in bed for three weeks trying to gain back rest that had eluded him for awhile. His wife took the typically non-secular approach to the ordeal, proclaiming that God had his hand on the driver seat, etc. She did her best trying to adjust to the news that her husband was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease. So far, the disease has only shown subtle signs of itself.

At one point in an extensive piece that ESPN wrote on the him, Bill Kennedy’s wife Mary said that she was the type of person that didn’t ever need to recharge after being out in front of people all day. She described her husband as the type of person that definitely did need to recharge. Essentially, Mary is an extrovert and Bill is an introvert. Mary gets her energy from being around others, and Billy gets his from being around himself. Mary’s like a crocodile in the sun, and Billy’s a tiger in the shade! Okay, maybe not exactly. As I mentioned before, Mary’s way of coping with problems is by letting go of the idea that she can control her fate and embracing the idea of an all-powerful entity controlling it for her. This seems to have worked for her and given her strength.

Bill and Mary have one daughter named Anna Cate who is about 11 years old now. The couple met in 1998, and Mary has talked about how garbagey his diet was the entire time he knew her up to the point of being diagnosed. Bill Kennedy’s wife helped convince him to change his diet and start consuming green smoothie-type stuff. According to the two of them, it’s done wonders. Mary is always the one who prepares the smoothies, and that takes a lot of time slicing and chopping stuff for the smoothies. This was all well-documented in a Houston Chronicle article about their diet. Mary is basically a nutrition expert now.

Dana Altman’s wife Reva Altman had three sons and one daughter with the man, and the daughter is finishing up nursing school in Omaha. When Dana moved from Omaha as coach of Creighton to become the big dog at Oregon, some feelings were apparently hurt. Reva said she didn’t think everyone would’ve taken a goodbye hug when he went to Oregon. I guess you can’t make everyone happy all the time. Reva and their daughter Audra stayed put in Omaha until Audra graduated from high school in 2010. Reva’s transition with Dana to life in Oregon was smooth, according to her.

Reva describes herself as a pro-life Christian conservative. At least by describing herself in that way you immediately know what you’re in for when you’re hanging with Dana Altman’s wife. I found a picture of her posing with Eric Stonestreet from the show Modern Family. I wonder if she would have posed with Stonestreet’s partner on the show, Mitchell Pritchett? Reva’s also a fan of this lady named Sarah Richardson, who has a whole brand going for herself and was one of those Martha Stewart types on television. I’m only telling you this so you can get an idea of Reva’s whole aesthetic: clean, prim, and vaguely 1950’s.

For someone whose 55 years old, Dana Altman’s wife Reva looks damn good. I’d say she’s one of the hottest women in her mid 50’s I’ve ever posted about. I should also mention that Reva’s a big fan of Rush Limbaugh and reads a publication called Western Journalism, which is essentially the companion piece to listening to Limbaugh. They’re not at all my favorite combination of media, but we’re all entitled to listen and read what we like. Reva grew up in Stanton, Nebraska. I’d say she’s done pretty well for herself raising a family and marrying a guy who had eighteen straight winning seasons in college basketball. It’s a pretty long way from Stanton now, but a few trips back there now and again help to remind her of her humble beginnings.

Greg Gard’s wife Michelle Gard has given birth to three lovely young kids named Mackenzie, Isaac and Peyton. Mackenzie’s the oldest at 12 years, and Peyton is the youngest at 5. For work, Michelle is actually the head honcho for one of the schools in the Oregon School District. The Oregon School District is a group of schools located in Oregon, Wisconsin. There’s five elementary schools, one middle school, one intermediate school, and one high school. I know it’s a little confusing the town is called Oregon, but they had to name it something and that’s what they came up with, okay? Michelle was the principal at the intermediate school, but she took a leave of absence to address a family medical issue.

Michelle went to school at the University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire. Make no mistake- Greg Gard’s wife and him are both native Wisconsin people. Greg himself grew up in Cobb, and they now live in Madison. I’m a big fan of Madison, Wisconsin. It’s got a beautiful campus and a vibrant and fun night life. The gig working for U of Wisconsin in Madison only started in January of 2015, so it’s something of an adjustment for the family. A short time before his hiring, Michelle and Greg went on vacation to a palm-treed oasis to get away from the daily grind. Vacations with the family are infrequent but come during respites from the season. Another fun family vacation was to Disney World in Florida back in 2013. The whole family also travels to tournament destinations like when they went to the Final Four in Texas back in 2014.

The couple met in a bar at 2AM according to profile by the U of W website. Greg Gard’s wife was celebrating some guy’s graduation, and Greg was a mutual acquaintance. Michelle certainly has all the confidence in the world in Greg. She said he’s extremely even-keeled. That seems to be a big strength for a coach. Michelle said in the profile that she’s seen all the qualities that he needs to have as a coach in their home life. I guess that means he draws out impeccable pick-and-roll plays on the kitchen chalkboard and calls timeouts during movies? She went on to add that what she saw in him when they first met was humility, hard work, and loyalty. Maybe he was working overtime to charm her.

Brad Underwood’s wife Susan Underwood has already hit that magic number of kids for coach’s wives: three. I’m fairly certain the last four coach’s wives I’ve come across have all had at least three kids. If the trend continues, we’ll have to come up with a theory about keeping a college coach’s relationship going by having at least three children. Their kids are named Tyler, Katie, and Ashley. Tyler was playing for his dad at Stephen F Austin before Brad took the gig at OSU.

It must be understood that this development of Brad Underwood as coach of OSU is brand new. Brad Underwood’s wife Susan is still righting herself to the change. Their kids are old enough, though, that it’s not as big a deal as if they were in middle school or high school. Prior to the big shift to Oklahoma State, Susan and Brad were heavily involved with charities and community events. They’ve also been fairly involved in church activities. Susan was very warm and reciprocative to the OSU community at the welcoming press conference. According to the local Oklahoma news, she sat in the same place after the announcement for a half-hour receiving welcomes and giving hugs and such.

The public relations message was very clear: Brad Underwood’s wife is a big fan of Stillwater, the town where the college is located. That was a big deal for the community because the last coach’s wife didn’t want to live there. Susan was keenly aware of this. Before all this, the entire family took a vacation to the Cayman Islands and swam with some stingrays. Their son Tyler documented some of this on his social media. Susan likes to wear a big sun hat in the Caribbean, and I can’t say I blame her. Sitting out in 100 degree weather for more than 5 minutes without some good protection is always a bad idea.

Jake Coker’s girlfriend Sarah Jeffries recently passed along the message that he does not have a Twitter or Instagram account. According to her, he wanted that message relayed by her. There’s got to be a pretty decent demand from female fans to check him out and maybe give him some encouragement on social media, but he’s opted out. The biggest reason he had her pass that message along was because people had been making fake accounts of him. Jake and Sarah have been dating for a long time by sports standards, and from what I can tell they’ve known each other for at least three years. He’s been featured in a few of her Vines from a few years back, though they’re always consistently incomprehensible.

Sarah, like Jake, is a student at the University of Alabama. I haven’t confirmed what year she is, but I’m 95% she’s a senior since she just celebrated her 21st birthday a few weeks ago. One gets the sense that Jake Coker’s girlfriend would follow him to the ends of the earth and do anything for him. She’s certainly an upbeat girl, and she shows nothing but undying enthusiasm and unending support for her stud quarterback. Sarah has said the past three years with him have been the best three years of her life. She considers herself really lucky to be by his side and witness all the success he’s had. Man oh man, it’s hard not to be jealous of young, handsome, successful college quarterbacks. Nice work, Mr. Coker.

When they’ve got free time, the very Southern Jake and his lovely lady will go hunting vacationing. They’ve taken trips to Mount Willing for both fishing and hunting, and when they want to hit the beach they’ll go to Orange Beach. Hunting deer and doves is very much in their wheelhouse, though Yankees such as myself are majorly conflicted about a group of people going out and shooting 110 doves. It does look fun, but I think my conscience would prevent me from blasting so many. Since Jake Coker’s girlfriend will likely follow him to whatever city he’s drafted to, there’ll be less time for massacres of flocks of doves…

Brooks Koepka’s girlfriend Becky Edwards met him at Florida State and is a professional soccer player. Brooks makes weird jokes about “proper football” being one of his favorite sports, but the guy’s from America. I’m not sure where talking about soccer as “proper football” came into the picture, but it might’ve been those years when Becky was playing for pro teams in Sweden and Brooks was on the European touring circuit. The way golfers are invited to tournaments and matches can get confusing because a lot of times their performance in one tournament has a direct impact on their eligibility in another.

For Becky, her eligibility to play for Hammarby in Stockholm and Kristianstads in the city of the same name came from her success playing with FC Gold Pride and Western New York Flash. Yes, I’ve never heard of these teams either, but they were or are pretty solid platforms for burgeoning women soccer players. Brooks Koepka’s girlfriend played with other future professionals Selin Kuralay and Mami Yamaguchi. Then as now, both Brooks and Becky are true Floridians. It’s fairly rare for Becky to have the time to attend any of the tournaments that Brooks is involved in, but it’s not unheard of in the offseason for her.

One such jaunt was when Becky traveled to the Bahamas for the Hero World Challenge which I believe is sponsored by Tiger Woods. Hey, attach the name Tiger Woods to a sports event and I’d fly in a private jet to attend it too. Brooks Koepka’s girlfriend also went to Napa Valley with Brooks in October and drank some Opus One, which is apparently a high-class wine. Trips to Napa for golfers and their girlfriends are pretty common. Golf and fresh wine go hand in hand. Besides these trips and celebrating Thanksgiving with their family in Florida, this couple is all business and stays really busy with their respective sports commitments. Becky’s team plays in the Citrus Bowl starting this year, and the stadium seats close to 62,000 people. That’s some hopeful venue planning.
